Architect - Terry + Terry Architecture

TERRY + TERRY ARCHITECTS

Berkeley, CA-based architecture firm Terry + Terry Architecture did a notable adaptive reuse of a 1960's home in Noe Valley, San Francisco.

Sustainable throughout, including using Ipe as the exterior layer of a dual-wall system (to reduce heat-gain). Ipe was chosen for the fact that it is sustainable, and is naturally resistant to mold, rot, insects, and the elements, without the need for chemical treatment. Natural daylighting, passive ventilation, recyclable elements.
